Akiko Stehrenberger is a Los Angeles-based artist and designer known for her distinctive film posters and illustrations. Her work combines sharp observation, humor, and an occasionally unsettling sense of the absurd.

Too Many Fucking People brings Stehrenberger's illustration of Malibu's First Point to Kinward, capturing the crowded spectacle of one of the world's most celebrated surf breaks.

Originally created in 2015, the artwork presents an exaggerated, comical portrait of the chaos in the water, where surfers compete for space in an increasingly crowded lineup. Reimagined as a sweatshirt, the illustration finds a new home beyond the beach.
